South County Swedish Serenity Massage
Swedish Serenity massage uses five styles of long, flowing strokes to massage. The five basic strokes are effleurage (sliding or gliding), petrissage (kneading), tapotement(rhythmic tapping), friction (cross fiber) and vibration/shaking.
Deeply relaxing, our massage relieves stress and includes the use of a heated table and hot towels to enhance your massage experience.

LIL RHODY LAVENDER PACKAGE
Be prepared to be pampered with a 60 or 90 minute Swedish massage highlighted in the relaxing aroma of lavender. This treatment begins with lavender aromatherapy and a scalp and face massage. A lavender moisture mask is applied to the face while a Swedish massage is performed on all quadrants of the body with lavender infused massage gel. A foot and back scrub is applied to exfoliate dead skin and moisturize. The treatment is finished off with a back massage and complimented with hot towels. A great way to unwind and relieve stress.
The Block Island Massage
This is the ultimate Swedish massage. We start with your choice of aromatherapy, and apply a moisturizing masque to draw out impurities and smooth the skin. A sugar foot and back scrub is applied which gently exfoliates and nourishes the skin. This wonderful 90 minute massage is finished with hot stones and will make you feel like you’ve escaped to the island.
Hot Moonstone Massage
Smooth stones gathered from Rhode Island beaches are placed into a purpose-built Stone Heater which is filled with water. The water is typically heated to 50-53 degrees Celsius (122-127 degrees Fahrenheit).
Once the stones have heated sufficiently, some are placed onto specific points on the body (such as the back, hands, etc.). Other stones are held by the massage therapist and used to work and loosen the muscles which is incorporated into a Swedish Serenity Massage .
The Rhody Facial Massage
A relaxing treatment to the face, scalp and neck and shoulders that combines hydrotherapy, Swedish massage, acupressure points, reflexology and passive exercises. This facial massage helps to realign facial muscles, relaxes and invigorates muscles of the scalp, neck and shoulders while nourishing the skin on a cellular level and may help to reduce tension headaches. The skin is cleansed, toned, exfoliated followed by a moisture mask application which and softens the facial skin. While the moisture mask sets, your are given a foot massage with reflexology, complimented with warm towels setting you up for a blissful relaxation experience.
